Swiss Delegation in Japan

Eleven years after Switzerland and Japan signed their agreement for cooperation in science and technology, the positive effects are plain to see: the various efforts and support instruments have intensified and facilitated bilateral cooperation between the two nations considerably.

The fourth Swiss-Japan Joint Committee Meeting on Scientific and Technological Cooperation took place in Tokyo on 28 February 2018. According to the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), steps were taken to make the partnership even stronger and explore additional opportunities for working together. Sabina Misoch from the FHS St.Gallen was among the members of the Swiss delegation, which also included representatives of support agencies and institutions from the worlds of higher education and research. The gerontologist at the FHS St.Gallen heads the national innovation network AGE-NT and has been working with researchers and industry partners in Japan for some time now.
